Dr. Lya Basha is a compassionate and dedicated podiatrist committed to helping patients achieve lasting comfort and mobility. She brings a well-rounded background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of lower extremity conditions, from sports injuries and trauma to chronic foot and ankle pain. Dr. Basha earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University in 2018 after completing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Central Florida in 2013. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media. Dr. Basha completed her residency training at Boston Medical Center beginning in 2019, where she gained extensive experience in inpatient, outpatient, and surgical care. Her research has explored vascular surgery, wound healing, and complex lower extremity conditions. Known for her attentive listening, patient education, and collaborative approach, Dr. Basha works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care for every patient she serves at Foot and Ankle Centers of Charlotte County.
